Do you think religious references should be banned from public school graduation ceremonies?

This is America and contrary to the president's view America was founded by Christians as a Christian nation and it continues to be a Christian nation even when a minority of people don't like it. You have the Constitutional right in this country to practice any religion that pleases you or no religion. However, whether you like it or not, THIS IS A CHRISTIAN NATION ! If you do not care to live in a Christian nation there are other countries in this world for you to go to. Do not come in to my Christian nation and then get offended when I practice my Christianity.

This is just another sign of "The End is Near"!!! Jesus is coming soon. I think that EVERYBODY need's to hear the word of God. God Bless the young people that will take a stand for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! I am a Christian. I will not keep quiet about my religious view's. If I am ashamed of God, then he will be ashamed of me. Bless the people that will take a stand, and praise our Lord.

i do not think that religious references should be banned people have the right to what they want to say i am sure most of Dorman students are Christians, but no one should be offended i am sure they did not mean to offend anyone.

Ithink that is whats wrong with our country and the reason it is in the shape that it's in because we have taken Godout of so many things we all should .stand up more for what we believe in. there's no reason why a few people should be making decisions for the whole country.I Think the nation as a whole should have a say in this matter.If they can vote for who will run this country why in the world would all people not be able to decidie on this and other matters WE'RE SUPPOSE TO BE A FREE COUNTRY AND FREEDOM OF SPEECH THE LAST I HEARD. thank you.

We Christians need to wake up before we lose our rights to worship as we see fit. If someone in my presents is worshiping something or some one differant than my Lord Jesus Christ, They are not going to affend me.They should be able to worship as they see fit,however allow me to worship as I see fit,without condemping me.Our nation was founded on (ONE NATION UNDER GOD WITH LIBERTY,JUSTICE AND FREEDOM FOR ALL!) This means YOU and Yes, me too.

It is my understanding that the students ran for the job of delivering the invocation at graduation ceremonies, making the person delivering the speech, chosen by the students. These young men had every opportunity to run for the spot or have a representative run that would state their feelings,they did not do so. As I understand it, as long as no obscenities were used, the young lady violated no laws.She was free to speak her mind about whatever, however she chose. I am shocked that these young men are using the religion format to be so bellicose.
We have sat back as Christians for years and allowed government to take and take from us, until we practicly have no rights left. Are we now going to sit back and say nothing as even the kids, the adults of tomorrow, begin doing the same thing. We always have to give up and tolerate and accept the thoughts and views of other religions, yet we keep having to give our rights up. We need to stand up for ourselves! Stop picketing things that shouldn't matter to us (since we are not supposed to judge) and stand up for the things that do matter. When we do this, we will begin to get more respect and more rights.

Praise God for these young people. It really disturbs me when all these people try to tell us not to mention the name of God or Jesus, do not pray, or read the Bible or post the 10 commandments. Then when something drastic happens such as the Gaffney Serial Killer, the 9-11 situation in New York, what happens? All we hear is everybody please pray and ask God to help us. God is an always all the time God, not just when we need Him God! He is always there for us and provide our needs. America and the rest of the world better wake up for GOD IS REAL!! If we love Him and follow Him, He will be everything we need! Stand up people God is Good All the time! All the time God is Good!
