I would pass. Mostly because it looks like a non fiction cover. Something analyzing violence in America. I think if the "a novel" was larger I might. Also agree that the colors make me think of a political non fiction book.

I'd pick it up, but I'd need to see what the spine looks like too. In a bookstore, I'm likely to see the full cover, but if this was something I browsed across in the library, I sometimes only see the spine, which has the title and author.
The main thing I didn't like about this cover was the color scheme. Can't put a finger on why, exactly, it doesn't appeal, but I did not find it attractive. Best,
I wouldn't personally pick it up, but only because it doesn't seem like my type of thing. Only reason.
I can see it working for your target audience. The title's good and the red, white, and blue, & the gun add more interest.
I hated voting no, but it's only personal opinion.
The book is pick-up-able (yeah, I know it's not a word haha).

No, but only because it seems like a thriller with political undertones, which is not the genre I like to read. If that's what you're aiming for, you're close to the mark.

Yes. The gun implies action and suspense. The title made me think it's either about government killers gone bad, or some sort of vigilantism.
