The death penalty? What is this the 1700's? This isn't the uneducated days of infant America. Use your intelligence to progress.
What wrong with life without parole? You don't have the guards building friendships with death row inmates just to have them executed. It's tough for a correctional officer to be with someone for 10 years, and then prisoner is just sent to death. You also don't have the killers family, who are innocent mind you, being put through the torture of having their loved one killed off. Of course you'll counter with the victims family getting put through the absolute horror of losing a loved on. You can say two wrongs make a right all you want, but you have to step outside the box and look at it from a bigger picture than your simple "an eye for an eye" 18th century garbage. These are human lives. No human or humans should have any say on who lives and who dies.
