Religions always become problematic in society when adherants to particular beliefs become fanatical. There are opposing beliefs and, throughout history, strong opposition has caused much misery and destruction.
Freedom of speech does not mean you can yell "fire" in a crowded theater. It also means you shouldn't "fire-up" groups of people in an inciteful way.

This church should be ashamed of its self. I noticed that mr. jones has been under investigation by the German government and had his compound raided in Cologne, Germany as well as losing his tax-exempt status in Germany. TV20 needs to do more research on this man's background and his cult.

Offcourse everybody is entitled to his/her opinion, however, if this pastor was trying to promote love as he says, I think he chosed the wrong message. I just don't see how insulting other people's believes can promote love, unless he is promoting the love of hate!

Freedom of speech is one thing -- but as with ALL freedoms, it comes with a responsibility. This church ruined it for themselves more than they did anyone else.

If this hateful slogan had been worn on a T-shirt by some kid in school, he would have been asked to remove it, and it may even have been addressed by anti-bullying laws.

This minister should be ashamed of himself. God is a God of Love, how in the world can you express love to your congregation if you have such hatred in your heart. God alone is the only one that can judge. Just because one has freedom of speech doesn't mean we can be offensive. I really think people sometimes take Freedom of speech to another level. There is no way in the world I would be a member of his church. It is enough hatred in the world without a man “supposedly be preaching of God’s Love, Kindness, and Mercy show such malice in his heart for another religion. Whom else does this minister hate deep within his soul?

Thoughts:
1) DWOC is obviously a cult
2) DWOC are entitled to their opinions (unless they incite violence)
3) The sign, while legal, is completely inappropriate
4) DWOC quite frankly is not alone in expressing these views. All fringe "fundamentalist" establishments (such as the Southern Baptist Convention) believe the same things, but are less public about them.
5) Christendom has an obligation to candidly and officially separate itself from these cults. These denominations shouldn't be integrated merely because they affirm the historical creeds. Their association with the Church compromises the integrity of all Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox faiths. As a Christian, their presence will no longer bother me once they have been ex-communicated.
6) The issue here is not about the veracity (or not) of the sign. Indeed all religious traditions (including Islam and Christianity) have something to be seriously ashamed of. The problem is with vilifying Islam (and Muslims, in the process) somehow because Koran-inspired violence and bigotry is "of the devil", but Bible-inspired violence and bigotry would be "of God".

This country was founded on the belief of God and should stay that way . For those who do not believe or even like our Great country then please let me help you leave. You come over here using our money not paying taxes and like the President don't respect our ways, well I hope the door don't hit you where the Good Lord split you.

If Islam is of the devil answer one question... What religion are you? Because as far as I know Christianity and Islam have the same GOD. And in both religions it is promoted that you are not to discriminate or cause mischief. If he is really "a man of God" he should educate himself better and teach his followers right from wrong. I fell sorry for the outcome of his students. A Teacher should learn how to teach before handing his students the lesson. By the way I would like to know how he defines "devil" anyways. Go explore the world, God made it all and all of us. In EVERY religion you have the good the bad and the ugly. Why think of religion, it is just racism, go straight to the source(GOD), and find out where you came from and work on how to get back. That is all we need to worry about.
