Have you bought or are you considering buying a gun because of the serial killings?

I know the Bible states an eye for an eye, but if we go out and buy a gun and shoot this animal, then are we not stooping to his level?. My heart goes out to the families who have lost loved ones during The Cherokee Shootest's rampage, and I hope they take comfort in knowing that he will pay for what he's done when he stands before Jesus Christ.

I don't blame anyone for buying a gun to protect themselves or their family during this frightening time we are facing. It has been difficult staying behind locked doors, too afraid to go out. I hope they catch him before another family has to indure what the Cash, the Linder, The Parker and the Tyler families have had to deal with in losing a loved one. I just think it's really sad that all of this is happening right here in our own hometown where things are usually quiet. This all seems like a bad dream or a bad episode of Law & Order.

The Bible also tells us to sell our cloaks in order to buy swords. God didn't put us here to be slaughtered like sheep! It is not sufficient to ignore Evil and hope it goes away. It won't. You have to fight it as hard as you can.

Society has not only a right, but an obligation to protect itself from the predators in our midst. The police cannot be everywhere at once so that means YOU have to take responsibility for your own safety and that of your family. Buy a gun, learn to use it properly, and store it safely (preferably ALWAYS in a holster on your side or under your arm).

How will you ever live with yourselves if you are unprepared when the wolves pounce on you and your family? What will you say to yourselves that will assuage the guilt you will feel when you realize you didn't take every legal, sensible measure available to you that might have saved their lives?

Wolves are wolves because they WANT to be that way. They don't deserve any pity from the rest of us.
