Do you think the Media coverage of the death of pop icon Michael Jackson is too much?

It is utterly ridiculous at all the media on this person. I am sick and tired of seeing nothing but Michael Jackson JUNK on the TV, even the internet is sickened with it all. He was a singer - NOTHING MORE. He was great in his younger days but grew up to be freak. Get him off the news!

You know what, ever since that greedy woman desgrace Michael Jackson the way she did, using her own son, just to get ritch off of him, Michael Jackson has not been the same, I am going to miss Michael a lot, I pray that Debbie Rowe does not get those children because she's going to do is sell the kids again tho the highes bitter, she sold them once to Michael she woul do it again.NO THE MEDIA COVERAGE ON MICHAEL JACKSON IS NOT TOO MUCH. on the contrary we need to hear and see moore about him, it's funny but when he was first accuse, a lot of people turn there back on Michael that was very hurting to him, know he's dead and gone, we have a hole lot of hipocrites out there crying and trying to get publicity for them self, GOD BLESS YOU MITCHEL JACKSON, REST IN PEACE.

I am so tired of Michael Jackson coverage on TV. If we gave the same media attention to all the men and women that died in Iraq and Afghanistan, we would have ended the war 3 years ago. Enough is enough. He was a Singer, not a head of state, not a president... not even a poor soldier, killed in a war. Enough!

He was a great singer, dancer, entertainer. If we keep him in that genre, he will live on as such. He was only human and a victim of his own success. Lets move on.

OK Let's get over it,,he was a very gifted singer ...but he choose to live his life the eway he did. People are killed everyday serving our countryn and yet we don't give them the credit they deserve. I dont think a grown man that enjoyed sleeping with children and who choose to do drugs illegally should be celebrated. There are far more important people and more omportant issues in our country that need our support ....he is gone,,let's move on with more important things Itn upsets me that the media feels that there is nothing more important than his funeral ...i will refuse to watch the media circus on tv..hmm and some tv networks wonder why we don't like to watch them anymore?? go figure ,,what about our military men and women who have given their lives for us let's spend time celebrating their lives and all the good they have done.

Michael Jackson is still dead. Our American Soldiers die every day and do not hear about that over and over again. Other celebrities die and do not have the kind of coverage Michael Jackson has had. It is a shame that the media only tells us what they want us to hear. Goodness ~ several well known people have died about the same time and we have not heard much about them. Let his family mourn him in peace and lets all move on. Michael Jackson is still dead.

Well this isn't a surprise. A lot of hateful comments and votes from a town full of country -bunkin rednecks.

Yes, he was just a singer and dancer. And Michelangelo was just a painter and sculptor. No, he was not called to fight a war in a foreign land. He battled the powers and principalities of darkness right here at home. He was no statesman, president or soldier, yet nations came together to remember him, if even for a few short days. So many stone throwers.

I strongly agree with MOST of the writers and voters. He was a singer, not a savior!!! He gave himself that title of king of pop, but he definately did not deserve it! The media has been treating him as if he descovered America. We need to wake them up. I guess they stuck to that story so would not have to go as far for that information as they would for our soldiers, who desreve a lot more attention that what he has gotten.

The coverage of this is get is to much, I rather here more about the soliders thats about to deployed out soon are here about whats going on with the schools around in our commuinty. When they are going to put out school supply list are when our childern can pick up there schedule. Are here if the President is messing up somewhere.
