Why bother?Like we're suddenly going to "save" the earth?Our wastefulness is still only overshadowed by our greed.
Come on mamma... the earth will survive when humans kill each other off. GREED??? No... self interest makes the world go round from the tiniest little insect to humans to elehants. Punishing ingenuity and the ability to support onself and others is backwards to nature.
I have no problem making LOCAL laws to say... HEY stop dumping mercury in that river... I have a HUGE problem pretending that we are changing the climate, we can make such a difference into making the world uninhabitable for all time, etc.
