Yes! Grant Hill should be considered as a returnee to Orlando. Of all the things Grant is (injured, rich, unlucky) the most important is that he is a basketball player-a good one at that and with plenty of heart He knows how he is viewed in this city. Which is one more reason he should be given consideration. He's got pride. Surely the player coming out of collage with his credentials does not want to go down into the annals of basketball history with the rap uncontrollable circumstances have saddled him with. Grant is good, he never gave up. And if he is willing to face what he will most likely have to face coming back here, he's got more than pride. He's go intestinal fortitude. (That's guts, Mike. That's guts)
Grant Hill...OMG!
Are you freakin kidding me. He robbed us blind the last time he was with us. I think there are much better ways to spend our money. Trevor Ariza, Rasheed Wallace, and Brandon Bass come to mind. For that matter, we should focus on signing Turk back because if he is resigned we would be unstoppable next season.
Word
The only way he should be allowed back is if he agrees to pay the Magic $10 million per year to play. If he came back and the Magic were one game away from winning it all, they should fire him before that last game, just to give him some payback for doing his best to destroy the Magic franchise.
Fungus:
You sir, are an idiot. Grant Hill has gone through more **** than anyone associated with the Magic franchise - NONE of which was his fault.
- Did he cause his ankle to break?
- Did he (or the Detroit coaches) pressure him to continue to play on said ankle?
- Did he (or the quack of a doctor that 'fixed' him) cause his ankle to be realigned improperly?
AND FINALLY....
- Did he not try all things humanly possible to return via rehab, etc.?
Grant Hill did not 'cause' the Magic to have those down years. Circumstance did. And just because circumstance affected G Hill doesn't mean that he is the one to blame.
You sir, are a schmuck. Plain and simple.
