Yes, people are spending a lot more time on their virtual image.

No, it's the economy, stupid. Virtual is cheaper.

When "eat the rich" signs start appearing you know it is time to lay low.

Doesn't anyone notice how much expensive junk it takes to be Mr. or Ms. Communications these days? Between the $5K Macbooks, $500 3G phones and all of the $75/month services they require (these services are needless to say provided by massive server systems consuming ever increasing resources). Is conspicuous consumption dead? Far from it.
