There are several foot touchdown techniques used by runners. What is your foot strike technique? Do you run on your toes, heels or a more neutral position?



I'm a heel runner. That's the only way for a distance athlete to run.

I run on my toes. It's the only way to run fast.

I run with a neutral, or ball of foot touchdown. That is the most efficient way to run.

Who cares - running mechanics and foot touchdown make no difference.
