The alert system should have been activated prior to the campus closure for Hurricane Ike. There was no announcement! I wrecked my vehicle attempting to get to school. Last semester the college received two bomb threats. The first threat was during a job fair in the Sports Arena-- no one was notified of the threat. The second threat resulted in a closure of the campus; this was completely understandable. However, if the system is not being utilized-- then what is the point in having it?
I THINK THIS IS A GREAT SYSTEM AND EVERY ONE SHOULD APPRECIATE IT!

actually, PDANIELL01 the text alerts were up during hurricane Ike because I used them to know whether the school was open or closed. You must not have been regestered yet.
