How's Your Pre Holding Up?

I had one crack from the inside.
    Touch interface no longer working.
Sprint store and CS, and Palm, called it Physical Damage, passing the buck.
I never dropped it or bumped it.

Had to do an insurance claim.

Wanted to cancel and back out of 2 yr deal, but was also told I couldn't.
So sold the replacement phone for $300 and am now out $300. $100 deductible on insurance and a $200 cancellation fee. All this even though I'm a new customer, and the phone I received was a lemon

Refuse to do business with a criminal enterprise, sprint and it's punks in Fenton, MO store, including it's without a clue j$$k o&f manager.

And refuse to do further business with a delusional palm, who also offered no reasonable remedies to THIER manufacturing issue/design defect.

My enitire family have Pres and we are more than happy. Could there be improvements, yes like anything else. I can only see this device getting much better with time. We can afford it and will continue to fork out what ever is necessary so long as Palm continues to improve the phone. My brother has an iPhone 3GS and its battery barely lasts half a day and he can't change the battery. The phone doesn't even ring 9 times out of 10 when he is called. This all is happening after the iPhone has been on the market for more than 2 years. Why don't we take a survey on the iPhone? Because it doesn't serve the purpose of the Apple fan boys! The truth is that the Pre is a far better phone than the iPhone.

    @ Beastage

You're not implying that people are dishonest on the internet are you?

I wonder how many voters actually have a pre... what a joke polls like this are.

Yeah I will be returning mine. It came with a scratch, the screen image has a warp in it, and the cover for the charging wire broke.
