President Obama is not on a quest for Bi-Partisanship in Congress. Obama's quest is to move Congress to the radical left. Why do you think they passed the huge Spending Bill without even reading it before they voted on it? They are doing it again with the Cap and Tax Bill. Healthcare is next. We're in trouble folks!

Pretty sure we can do better than (D) Nancy Pelosi. Maybe when (if) the governor of South Carolina (R) stops crying like a little girl, (AMAZING) he could be re- assigned as speaker and keep his ridiculous salary and benefit packages. Continues to astound me how anyone can not be ashamed of the party to which they belong. Between the "Liberals" and the "moral majority", I believe the previous writer is correct! We are in trouble!

Dear Mr. Kimble,
Stop watching Fox news and listening to Rush. Instead, go make love to your wife and then go play with your children or grandchildren. Have a beer or go fishing! You are worrying about crap you cannot control. What a wasted life to spend greiving over politics!

Thank you, Mr. Defario! Although I am not Mr. Kimble, I am going to consider your advice. What you say makes a lot of sense. It's just very frustrating not having any control over the issues concerning the greater good. I guess the other side of the coin is, if we ALL do the forget about it thing, we will get railroaded even worse.

Mr. Defario, how do you know what I watch? I'm just a typical American that Obama couldn't fool. Rush is right! If Obama gets his policies passed, America will be destroyed.

I am not ashamed of my "party"; I am ashamed of specific politicians who have decided to do the American thing and put themselves first. I am very tired of immature name-calling and blind party line stands (on both sides) instead of concentrating on issues.

Sticking your head in the sand and drinking a beer is not going to solve any problems. (Ask the countries blindly steam-rolled by socialism, communism, fascism, Marxists, etc.) Worry is not going to fix anything, either. Only ACTION on the part of every average American will solve anything. "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." -Edmund Burke

If you only want one, slanted partisan perspective from a news agency, keep watching Obama worshippers on NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, etc. How is that any different from watching FNC? Why are liberals so threatened by one cable news channel that presents a different perspective? Because they have people on from both sides of the issues? Because common sense is so rare?

If nothing else, the fact that Obama and the Democrats are ram-rodding legislation through Congress so fast that they don't even have time to read the whole bill before voting should make EVERY American angry. Can you imagine what would happen in any other place of employment if this happened? What is so controversial in those bills that they want to pass it before anyone reads it?

The cap & trade energy tax bill is going to change YOUR life. Your water use, fuel use, electric use will be restricted. New construction will have to meet the building codes of houses built in CA. Older homes will also have to meet new energy standards before they can be sold. Your utility bills will increase and the blame will be placed on the utility companies instead of on this legislation.

When is it acceptable for a person to call their representative and get hung up on? When is it acceptable for a person to contact their representative and not be heard and then given an honest answer? They are supposed to be our reps, but they are more consumed with Hawaiian luaus than taking care of us.

What do you think is going to happen to our community when Obama's agenda to put coal companies out of business is accomplished?

Too many people are fine with sitting back, drinking a beer and letting Washington operate without any accountability to US. When's the last time you did something besides call names, mock people trying to make a difference or drink a beer? If that's all you are capable of, please, go back to your beer.
