I believe the last thing American citizens need is more meddling in our lives by the government for any reason, i.e. local,state and/or federal !!
Personal responsibility is really all that is required!
I think that any law should be evenly applied to people of all ages. The recent crash on Topsfield Rd. by a 24 year old speeder shows that the young need to be accountable for good driving, too. Older people should not have any more trouble than young people getting or remaining licensed. However, families, neighbors, doctors, and police should not be reticent about calling the RMV if they witness that an older person is having difficulty and should not drive any longer. If they can drive, then leave them alone.
