My ball is on a slope and is being stopped from rolling into the bunker by a rake.

Thats OK if it moves when you move the rake you can replace it in the same spot on the bank

Sorry, you will have to play your next shot from the bunker

You can move your ball one club length no nearer the hole without penalty

You are not permitted to move the rake at all

It would depend whether the ball moves nearer the hole to land in the bunker. Rule 24 states that you lift the ball, remove the moveable obstruction, (the rake) then drop the ball as near as poss to where it lay, no nearer the hole. If it moves nearer the hole twice then it should be placed on the last spot it dropped on. Also if it moves more than 2 club lengths away from where it is dropped twice, (say into the bunker, but further from the hole) then again it is placed where it hit the ground the last time it was dropped. Only if it roles into the bunker, away from the hole and less than 2 club lengths would you need to play it from the bunker.

Now that this question has been on the site for many a long day, can the correct answer be published and can we then have another brain teaser?
I do think that the idea has merit and identifies weaknesses in all our knowledge of the rules of golf. So the poll is good but needs to be refreshed on a regular basis.
