I think it is a shame that Jon and Kate feel the need to do a show regarding their decision on their marriage and children. They should seperate and divorce without a million people watching.
I feel sad for the kids. No divorce is without issues and the kids always suffer.
My heart breaks for the kids of a family where the parents can't see beyond their own selfishness. I chose divorce over marriage and everyone has suffered for 35 years. If they think the troubled marriage is difficult, they will find out how fricken hard divorce is and how it leaves irreparable damage on the kids lives. Troubled marriage can be healed, divorce is the pain that just keeps on ticking - for the rest of their lives.
Well, since the show's point is to show the daily lives of this family, I wonder if the episodes will "honestly" expose all of the pain the kids will go through? Will that be the next voyeuristic interest for America to tune into?
These people have lost all basis in reality and have grown so accustomed to exploitation. They have no regard for the emotional needs of their chidren. MONEY cannot solve EVERYTHING. This they will learn at the expense of their children..remember Lucy and Desi Arnez...it was NEVER the same...and the kids suffered tremendously...It's time to watch Growing up Gosselin...8 spoiled rich kids with major emotional issues...and the Mother they had the poor grace to be blessed with
