No. How often must it be said? Conservation would be much more effective than any other "source" of energy. New exploration and development will only keep us addicted and disincentivise any change in our consumption. Any expansion, or even maintenance of the status quo, is nothing but a handout to Big Energy at the expense of the environment, our health and the economy.
