No, i do not support the mayor raise or the council approving there own raises just because they had the power to do so. moreso, i do not approve of the large amount of the raise. the increase was too large for one increse i feel. we are in a recession. and the mayor back tractked on his words of "corruption" after the council giving him a raise. i think there is "corruption" in several forms....the council seems to do what they want done and are not representing the city's desires as a whole.
I think Phenix City is off the change,they need more professionals.
