Who's Your Favorite Captain?

This has to be the best reality TV show ever! I don't watch much television, but I can't wait for this show to come on during the week and will even watch the reruns over and over again. These are the braviest men I have ever seen and I am captivated by their way of life. I always loved reading sea going novels - The Deadliest Catch is much better than curling up with a book in bed. To my captains: God Bless you and your crew and keep everyone of you safe and deliver each one of you home at the end of the season to your loving families.

For pure rugged sex appeal and sea faring fantasy it has to be Jonathan Hillstrand OMG! But the vote surely has to go to Phil Harris. His recent health scares left me worried and concerned - welcome back Phil. And to Murray power to you you took over unprepared and brought the boat home safe and sound God Bless Murray. This show is unmissable, gripping, entertaining and makes you want to know more. Thank you ALL of you for allowing us to follow you superstars you didnt mean to be but superstars you are. God Bless all of you and safe home from all endeavours. You, and your families especially, have to be some of the bravest and loved people. Heres to many more successful seasons for all - cant wait to watch you all.

The Sigmeister has plenty of facial hair and looks incredibly good all rough and scruffy. He got my vote for favorite because how can anyone not love Sig?

I have to say though that Murray deserves more legs!!! Murray rocks! Not everyone could step in and take over for Phil and do it with such class..not once but TWICE! He did an awesome job and if there were a few bumps in the road he handled them with much grace. I give Murray 4 legs!!! Go Murray!!!

All these Captains are awesome risk takers. I agree with Llama. Murray is a class act, he commutes between New Mexico and Dutch Harbor more in 2009 to help for different fishery seasons. He needs additional crab legs!

Sig is definitely tops in my book. The Northwestern rocks! Totally agree with llama and mamawas though. Murray is deserving of way more than one and a half crab legs. Not many guys could have stepped in and run the boat as well as he did. Murray's a standup guy. Four big legs and a pound of melted butter are on their way!
