It always amazes me that when folks get bored, they get nasty. Since the bad-natured gibes that your target endured when he was just stating his opinion, and the extended liveliness of this comment section when he was participating, now that he has (obviously) chosen not to engage such negativity, all the comments have dried up. Art, for what it's worth, I agree with you. If, in fact, that was Steve's post, he wouldn't have misspelled his own name. A moderator, on the other hand, seems a little over the top. Let's just all get along and keep it clean and friendly. This is a fun outlet for me and I enjoy the interaction and anticipation from week to week. 'nuf said by me.
Art, I wouldn't be calling anyone homophobic or anything in here, someone was just having fun be it in poor taste, however worthy the intended target was...I just want to see everyone having fun in here and no judgment against people's captions or who the tribune picks for finalists and I think that's what everyone wants here
When is any target worthy of bad taste? Letterman was over-the-line with his Palin comments, but it was a joke so it's okay? The poster of the filth on this page can't take it back, obviously. It's still wrong, and it's not fun to see that here. Signed, Art
