The trolley driver should not face criminal charges because there was no intent behind what happened. It was an accident and unfortunately accidents happen. All the personal information that is coming out about the trolley driver is none of any bodies business and unfortunately for him is making his everyday life unsafe due to all the homophobes out there that want to punish him and see him pay. It is disgusting what the media does to get a story and home many lives they ruin without care.
My hope is all this is just a catalyst to see improvement in the safety of the T passengers as well as the T drivers. My real concern is all the people that drive cars while texting or are on the phone like the one that almost ran me off the highway today.
