Excellent move on your part. I have been involved with running or owning a field since 1992 and I would wholly support this decision not to carry markers that are unreliable or you dont believe in. I myself have had the opportunity to see what works and what does not work first hand and this certainly influences my own opinions on what I sell because of that experience. Im an advocate for simpler guns. When asked what they should buy I only relay this thought: out of every big game I run say perhaps 20 percent of the players come with expensive electronic do-dads and the other 80 percent come with good ol' stock mechanical markers. I can almost guarantee that if anyone is sitting out repairing their marker while a game is going on it is a person of the 20 percent group.
