I think you know what the answer to this question will be because the majority of the folks in here do not fly first class, so they see it as something only "the rich get." I do travel in first class quite often, but let me assure you that I am not rich, so not make a six figure income and I did not invest with Bernie Madoff. I do travel frequently however, and I work my you-know-what off at my job.

Let me say that I am all for giving more benefits to coach class passengers too (and treating them nicer). The treatment you get from the airlines in traveling first class makes a big difference, especially when you consider the awful expereince it is nowadays going to the airport. The airlines are doing what they should be doing - rewarding those who are their best customers - rather than taking the mobile phone company approach of sinking all of their dollars into acquiring a new customer and screwing their current ones, who only care about "the lowest price". I actually find it refreshing, and to say otherwise just shows ignorance.
