There is general agreement that Michigan's roads are in unacceptably poor condition and getting worse. What should be done to address this?

Nothing. The roads are OK as they are.

Road agencies should do more with less. Or just do less.

The gas tax should be increased.

New mechanisms of funding road improvements should be found.

Truck weight limits should be reduced.

Eliminate gcrc and let each township hire private contractors to perform the work, working with the residents. The result would be the residents would have a real voice. If the contractors ignored the residents, as gcrc does, they could be replaced. As it is now gcrc has a monopoly and could not care less about the residents that pay taxes.
