Start Rant:
These polls are extremely unscientific and meaningless -- especially without indicating in the results above, how many people participated in the poll. Although it is possible to figure this out (currently there are 9 responses), this ought to be explicit. 9 self selected people have responded out of 30,000 people living in town.
End Rant;
I took the middle of the road answer because since I won't be buying one of the condos, I won't benefit directly from this development. So the question becomes is the building of this complex prettier for Lexington than the Battle Green Inn? Granted the Battle Green Inn was a pit, but then again, I didn't ever use it and you couldn't see very much of it from the outside.
I do think the exterior looks nicer for Lexington and I don't have a problem with the height. As for this development having a positive impact on Lexington, I'm not sure: Since it is not a hotel/motel, it isn't contributing to the public. And surely we don't need any new (empty) storefronts. And finally, the prices of the condos confirm the sorry reputation that Lexington is only for rich people.
So, although my visual impression is positive, I am reserving judgement to see what goes in the store fronts.
