For which Shout! show would you most like to see the next season released?

Spin City deserves to release all the seasons that involved Michael J. Fox in the lead. I think a lot of people are waiting for the series set, but this still has recent appeal. MJF recent ABC special shows that there is still a large interest in him. I just recently noticed that the second season was out already, so part of the problem is publicity.

I voted Rhoda but I would also buy Father Knows Best, Spin City, Mr. Belvadere, My Two Dads, Paper Chase.

I also voted Rhoda. Even WITH the flawed material Shout Factory! used in the Season 1 box set, it was still the best new set of the year. Imagine what would happen with future releases of uncut, remastered episodes!

I hope you don't expect to see 1950's series, such as "Father Knows Best," get the same number of votes as many of the more recent shows. Their smaller vote totals don't mean they shouldn't be released in full, they are just not remembered by as many people any more. Besides "FKB" (all 6 seasons), I'd also buy - if you were to offer them - "Make Room For Daddy" (11 seasons), "Our Miss Brooks" (4 seasons), and the "George Burns & Gracie Allen Show" (8 seasons).

I voted for Peyton Place-I have waited so long for it-Just like I have for Dynasty and Knots Landing.

With that said I have already purchased Rhoda, Room 222, Father Knows Best and Ironside as well. Have no interest at all in the other titles.

I voted Mr Belvedere of course but would but more sets of several other series. Too bad you can only vote once and for one show. Since that's the case my vote has to go to Brocktoon. We need more Brocktoon lol. Also, where is Simon & Simon? Want to see more of that.

Shout! needs to remember that you can't just go by the polls because not everybody that would buy the seasons would vote in the polls. They also need to look at the sales. Room 222, Mr. Belvedere, Spin City and Rhoda need to see daylight again.

Actually, Adam 12 and Ironside are the only two really good shows on the list. I wish Shout Factory would do a series box for Chris Elliott's Get A Life.
He told a friend of mine that he had recorded commentary for the first
season but David Mirkin who owns the rights pulled the plug on the project.
It was only on for two seasons so Shout Factory should do a limited edition
box set. The two volumes that Rhino did back in the 90's are long out of print and go for big money on line. Even the crappy bootleg sets sell well. I wish
Mirkin would realize how many people want this out. Shout Factory should also do a Banana Splits set.

I voted My Two Dads, but I would definitely buy it and Mr. Belvedere. More 80s sitcoms please! More California Dreams too!

Hi! First, I am grateful to Shout!Factory for releasing all of these fantastic titles. I think that each season of the these incredible shows should be released. I am an IRONSIDE fanatic, and it's really frustrating to have only two seasons out on DVD. I stronly believe that fans of each of these shows would purchase each and every season, and should have the ability to do that.

For example, the company that had the rights to The Big Valley only released 1 1/2 seasons! Their liscense to the show has since lapsed, putting the show into DVD limbo.

There as so many worthy shows, The High Chaparral comes immeditately to mind, that deserve to be released on DVD. Any seasons of these types of shows would be valuable, but a commitment to release them whole is what this fan would love to see!

So, please release the remainder of Ironside, as well as Father Knows Best, and please consider a holistic approach to these classic shows. They value is inestimable to fans, and to the history of our TV cultural history.

Man I love Shout! Thanks for releasing such great material from all decades that otherwise would languish and be forgotten. I voted for Mr. Belvedere, and I love all your other 80s sitcom release. I would also buy more Father Knows Best and other great 50s shows too.

I echo Bob Alexander's comments concerning "FATHER KNOWS BEST." It simply isn't going to fare as well in an online poll as some of the more recent series because the consumers most interested in buying it aren't as likely to be online nearly as much. I'll continue to buy 2 or 3 sets of this classic 50's show as long as Shout releases it. I hope you guys can see it through to completion. Right now it's literally the only show Shout is releasing that represents the 50's. Keep up the good work.

Adam 12 with Ironside a close second. Since Universal doesn't appear to be willing to complete the final seasons of the 1960's Dragnet, why doesn't Shout factory.

Please release more seasons of "The Paper Chase." I have thoroughly enjoyed the first season, which originally aired on CBS during the 1978-79 season, and have been anxiously hoping for the Showtime seasons that aired in the mid 1980s. "The Paper Chase" may not receive as many votes in this survey as some of the shows listed, but I hope you will soon release the rest of the series. It is a great series that deserves to find a new audience to go along with the loyal fans who have been hoping for its release for years.

Father Knows Best is my hands-down favorite. I've already ordered Season 3 from Amazon and will buy any additional sets released.

Father Knows Best gets my vote. I'll buy all the season sets Shout releases! Thank you so much for putting out this wonderful sitcom that holds up as well today as it did years ago. Also, thanks for the wonderful extras on these dvds. I've really enjoyed the "Window on Main Street" episodes that Shout Factory has been including in these sets.

More "Father Knows Best", please! The best show ever. And you folks at Shout are half way through at this point (releasing Season 3 next month). There were only 6 seasons so please don't stop when you are halfway there.

I was hard pressed to decide what to vote for. I just received Peyton Place Volume I and have Volume II on pre-order. I have the first two seasons of Father's Knows Best and have three on order. I have two seasons of Adam 12 as well and Room 222. In the end, I gave my vote to Room 222 simply because I had a feeling it would have the lowest vote total. It seems I was right. I enjoyed the first season so much and hope there is more to come. I hope that for all of these series. Well, I actually don't care too much about Mr. Belevedere. Never was a fan.

FATHER KNOWS BEST is the series I most want to see continued. It hasn't been on TV for many, many years. The audio and video quality is top notch and I'll keep supporting this release all the way through the last season. Please keep these sets coming, Shout!

There are people voting multiple times on this poll there is no way paperchase goes to 350 yesterday to 800 today.

Paper chase was at 403 this morning now it's at 951 somebody is not playing fair why vote if it's not going to be a fair process.

I hope Shout just throws out these poll results altogether. Several shows have been manipulated in the polls over the last 24 hours. The most egregious of these is definitely "Paper Chase." It's unfortunate that people can't just vote once and leave things be, but I've seen these online polls manipulated so many times in the past I'm not at all surprised.

I voted for Ironside, but I wish I could've also voted for Adam-12, Father Knows Best, Peyton Place, Rhoda and Room 222 as well as the early seasons of SCTV. I have bought all of those released so far and will continue to support any future releases of those and more! Bring on more classic 1950s-70s shows, odds are I'll buy most of them.

I have thoroughly enjoyed viewing Season One of "The Paper Chase" and hope the remaining seasons of the series will be available on DVD soon. BTW, a huge thanks to Shout Factory! for securing the DVD rights to Thirty SomeThing --- I've already placed my order for season one!

I've seen a lot of whining about the number of votes going to The Paper Chase, and they might even be legitimate complaints, but The Paper Chase IS a phenomenal show that deserves to see more seasons released. Everyone has their favorite shows, and hopefully Shout! Factory will make an effort to release complete sets of all of them.

Polls like this are inherently flawed by virtue of the fact that only the most diehard fans will bother to vote at all, and that proactive fan base is not necessarily representative of the buying public as a whole. A poll like this is at best a fun way for fans to show support for their favorite television shows. It gives the good folks at Shout! Factory some indication of diehard fan support, but they are looking even more closely at a more important number: the number of previously released season sets sold. If they believe they can make enough money on the release of a season set of any of the series they have rights to, they most likely will release it; if not, they won't. The best way to show support for your favorite series is to buy the seasons as they come out and talk them up with friends, family, whoever will listen.

My vote goes to The Paper Chase. Is it any more deserving then any of the other television series listed? Not necessarily. It's just my favorite on the list because of its quality. Sure, the clothing and production values are dated, but the stories are timeless. I would urge anyone who hasn't seen it to give it a try. You might just be glad you did.

I voted for Adam 12, but only because HERMAN'S HEAD wasn't one of the other choices. That is the show I would most like to see on DVD.

Despite of what TVShowsonDVD.com reported yesterday concerning which shows are supposedly big sellers for Shout, it is a fact that there were voting "irregularities", to say the least. Some shows had huge jumps in just a few hours and it's clear this wasn't just random, different people voting. I just hope no show is negatively affected by this poll, because that would be unjust.

I'm with Elizabeth. I want more "Father Knows Best" and I'd really be upset if this poll was the determining factor in whether more sets are released, because it does look like it's been messed with.

And to "john," just three more places up: No, I did not vote a hundred times or more for "The Paper Chase." Spin city needs to be released in full! You have already released season 1 and 2, you can't ditch it now you must have 3 and 4 as well!!!! The Michael J Fox seasons are classic TV, and also would sell a lot as there are huge MJF fans out there still. I'm in the UK and have been buying these as region 1 imports just becausei love the show and MJF so much. And many people i know who were not big MJF fans were won over and LOVE Spin City. You have to finish releasing it, season3 and 4 (and possibly Charlie Sheens Season 5 and 6 too) please!

How about the original "In Search of..." series from the 1970s with Leonard Nimoy. Please release the originals with all of the strange opening credits and music and not the butchered History Channel reruns.

I am pleading with you to release all these great shows, but mostly Room 222. This is one of the finest 1/2 of the late 60's/early 70's made and is a great window into the culture of it's time.

Please continue with Peyton Place, I did not watch it as a kid, too young to stay up that late, but have become addicted and am almost done with the second half of the first season. Savoring them slowly so I won't finish too fast. Pleaaase Hurry.
