I admit it, I am a lazy reader. I dislike words I can't pronounce in my head, and names that are too far removed from English make it impossible for me to keep the name attached to the character. I also balk at syntax that's hard to parse. I read fast, strictly for entertainment, and I don't want to have to work that hard. Kind of embarrassing, but true.

I generally hate invented languages, or names that are dificult to pronounce. I know it wil irritate me throughout the book, so I don't buy the book.
