Vote in last week's caption contest

I don't get it.

I understand the first and third caption, but I completely don't understand the second caption. Maybe it's just me.

I get all 3...the second caption is a situational one,with the joke being how they got there, the first is the obvious, and if you know electricity terms, the 3rd in hilarious. Another good batch

I guess I get the second one now. Obviously it's not mine. No offense to who ever it belongs to. One of the others is mine, but I'll never tell which one. Keeps the laughs coming.

LOL! If you actually get the hard copy of the paper, they publish the names with the captions. They are all pretty good choices this week. It took me a bit to get the second one too.

I don't know folks. Will you look at last weeks finalists? The first three were picked. Is there a pattern here? How deep do the judges go, or is it a race? Please prove me wrong.

Hey Dale, I was saying this weeks ago: there's no merit to the finalists because the staff that picks them has the attitude of "let's just get it over with." And the veteran submitters know this and as soon as the new cartoon appears, their submissions, no matter how banal, get selected because the Trib doesn't want to take the time to find the best captions.
