What's your advice for D.O.N.D.?
Hate to tell ya, sista, but the time to move on was 18 months ago. Don't waste any more time!
If even just the OPTION is important, then yes, it's a deal-breaker, especially at 38. Leave. You and your biological clock don't have the luxury of waiting to see if he changes his mind.
Tell him how important the OPTION is to you. Maybe if he knows it's a deal-breaker, he'll change. If not -- next!
Talk to him honestly, tell him you're concerned, then give it another few months to see how you both feel.
Is it true love? Then maybe you can live without the option of marriage and kids.
Don't believe the biological clock hype! If you change your mind later, there's always adoption or IVF. But true love is too good and too rare to pass up just to keep your "options" open.
