What the heck is going on in Bottom anyway!?
I mean c'mon. Right now, right this second, is it just crushed with vibrant activity?
Right now, two bums are watching a coal gondola roll by.
Give me a break.
THE BALLPARK BELONGS ON THE BOULEVARD WHERE IT HAS BEEN FOR YEARS. THE BOULEVARD IS IN A PERIOD OF REVITALIZATION NOW. THAT WOULE HELP. AND THE MAJORITY HAVE VOTED THAT IT STAY ON THE BOULEVARD. RENOVATE IT AND THEY WILL COME.
GIVE UP ON DOWNTOWN ALREADY. THIS HAS BEEN TRIED MANY WAYS FOR MANY YEARS AND IT'S NOT WORKING.
Checkboxes for a web poll? The RTD needs to stop using interns to write their code.
Has anyone seen the research and actually looked into what would happen if the park was built in the bottom. It would add so much economic growth. The Blvd is NOT the place to go see a game. If we build in the bottom, I would expect the same positive results that have occured in other cities such as Memphis, Louisville, and Indianapolis. It's not just about baseball and tradition. It's about making the city flourish downtown.
As long as my tax money isn't being used to build it, they can have it anywhere they want.
Stop trying to use tons of taxpwyer $$$$ for doing a project the public does not want.
Renovate the current ballpark & make it up to date with seating & irrogation system. Fiigure out a parking situation there. Get that done.
Creating havoc over a downtown renovation is not working. It is only further alienating people from traveling downtown who would otherwise possibly go there.
It has worked for years on the boulevard. Stop trying to disrupt that. It stopped working there when you wouldn't renovate the ballpark to keep the braves there. don't loose this team before they get here.
