Who is your favorite in the Top 4 of American Idol?

MAN !!! I'm not sure what to think about Americas ability to vote correctly. I'm honestly not sure that the producers of A.I. are not making things more shocking on purpose. Come on people, do you really believe Adam was 2nd to last in Americas vote last night, I certainly Don't. I have a lot of friends, I mean a LOT !!! of friends who watch A.I. and none of them could believe Adam was that close to being sent home. NO ******* WAY, I don't buy it, not for a second. Pretty smart though, shock value will definitly keep America watching. I have to say though, if it wasn't an obvious plan to keep us on the edge of our seats and America really did vote that close for Adams departure and it went the other way sending Adam home instead of Matt, I would have been so discusted that it would have been very difficult to continue watching the show, in fact I most likly would have bid A.I A fond farewell never to watch it again.
Adam, Allison, Danny and kris, I wish you the best and I think the right choice was made tonight sending Matt home. I'm really happy that Allison is still in the mix. She really deserves to be there. I do have to say that though I'm happy for Allison, I don't see her winning over Adam, but that girl will most certainly have a fruitfull long lasting carrier in the music buissness.

Hell ya !!! M*W*J, I couldn't have put it better myself. There is no way Adam was that close to leaving. Do the producers of American Idol really think were that stupid. I also thought it was screwed up making Adam choose the two contestants he fit in with. In my opinion it could have caused animosity towards Adam by the two he didn't pick. I thought it was wrong to do that to him. My hats off to Allison as well, Really talented girl.

Oh I'm so sorry "alison lovers!" but I'm sure that the next week will be her last week, her voice is amazing but it can't be compered with adam's voice

I think that although adam is in my toop 2, that it might not have been for publicity. Because he is so popular, then his fans think that he is deffinitely not going home and they dont vote as much (this is also not a bad thing becuaswe next week, all the fans will vote more for him because of the fact that he almost went home, just like right after matt got saved).

I think Adam is very talented and should produce a broadway musical. To me however his theatrics and the scream he has to put into EVERY song grows tiresome... If he had to sing a lullaby, he would manage to get that SCREAM in there and wake up the baby :-)

Everytime Adam screams his songs (which is often), that freakish looking tongue comes out, reminding me of those pictures all over the internet of him tongue kissing that guy friend of his. He might land a spot as a woman in a gay cabaret show somewhere, but he's not winning Idol. Get over it. And for all you women who swoon over Adam, he's not swooning over anybody except those who have the same equipment that he has, if you know what I mean...

GET OVER IT PEOPLE... There are people that are just getting tired of Adam and his screaming in every song that he sings. Stop making excuses that it was all just a put on. I'm getting tired of the way he's been singing and he was my favorite.

It was a REAL shocker that Adam was in the bottom two. If just in case Adam gets eliminated before the finals, i'm pretty sure the judges will have the BIGGEST regret that they used their 'power save' to Matt. I will never forgive them. Too me what was even more shocking other then the obvious bottom 2 results was the fact that none of the judges really seemed surprised by the results. The reason the judges weren't phased about Adam being in the bottom 2 is because they know that there are other talented people in the competition not just Adam. Idol is obviously rigged. Any true Idol fan or religious watcher this season would have noticed that in virtually every poll, Adam wins by a large margin. Don't believe me? Check Rickey.org, AOL's Idol poll, DialIdol, etc, every poll Adam wins. It just doesn't make sense that he would be in the bottom 2, other than the fact that the producers are trying to plump up the show. Remember, producers will do anything to keep their show at #1, and they were probably afraid people were going to loose interest because of Adam's obvious lead in the competition. Also, remember how iTunes accidently leaked the popularity polls? Revealing that Adam had 6/10 top songs on the list, and that Mad World was actually NUMBER ONE on iTunes at one point? Idol producers aren't stupid, guys... They'll do anything to keep the ratings up, and this was a smart way to do it. Adam Lambert for the win. Gokey can GO home.

For me, I think Allison is a good singer, but without enough experience, and I don't see myself buying her record. And, Danny sounds the same every week, he's a good singer, but i would NEVER buy his record. Kris can't sing, but he's creative. Adam can sing beautifully and is the most creative Idol has ever had.

Check out Newsday.com's poll, which has always shown Adam way ahead just like the rickey site's poll. I think Newsday resets the response number (everyday?) and I've seen it up as high as the rickey site's, so doesn't rickey's seems weird?

Where do you-all think the voters of a particular singer (if they stick with Idol), go after their favorite is kicked off? Where would Anoop's and Lil Rounds's voters go? I don't think they necessarily gravitate to Adam even if he is the best because he doesn't fit the AI middle-of-the-road type of singer. I think, also, there is a huge number of Adam voters from Day 1 and who will dump AI if he doesn't win. These Day 1 voters won't vote for anyone but Adam (including me). But the dispersal of votes as contestants are kicked off may tend to go more to the average types rather than to a spectacular and less mainstream one like Adam. This may be more of a problem than anything else. I might add, too, that those who criticize the "screaming" should listen very carefully to the "Feeling Good" studio version. I just played it for two 15-year-olds and one 16-year-old and they were stunned by the performance. Download time. An amazing talent.

I too am an Adam fan, and in response to Curtis, we all know what team he's on, but we don't care! The man knows how to wear a suit and he's got the prettiest smile I've ever seen. Match that with his impeccable vocals, and I'll watch him for hours.

Do you think the fact that Danny is chubby and not very hansome and Allsion is chubby and not at all pretty will play a part in the voting/idol potential? Kris and Adam are obviously the good looking ones. Do they have an advantage becasue they are not unattractive? If so, I would think this is unfair. Adam is still my favorite based on his singing, song choice and stellar performances. But, it irks me that in the UK you can have a Susan Boyle and it does not matter, but here being unattractive like Allsion or Danny might hurt you in the long run. I guess at this stage it has not hurt Danny on Idol, but there are not many popular young, chunky, plain singers/soloists these days.

I don't believe Adam was in the bottom three either. I was just wondering why they chose him to humiliate. This stunt was pulled on David Archuleta but he had to choose between three people on each side as to which group he wanted to join. He joined neither and of course was placed in the safe group. Adam was the third of the bottom three no matter what. Why humiliate him like that. Danny Gokey mr. borefest looked so phoney shocked for Adam and it was like what kind of stunt was this anyway.

For every single person out there who was as shocked as I was that Adam was in the bottom two.... For every single person out there who think it was a stunt for ratings, or whatever... I have two words for you: Chris Daughtry. Whether it was a stunt or Adam fans taking it for granted that plenty of other people would vote for him, at least he is still in the running and we get to enjoy Adam performing on Rock & Roll week. there's a big difference between a vocalist and an outstanding and creative performer (like adam).

Allison is the most talented 16 or 17 yr old to ever grace the Idol stage.Definitely in Adam's realm talent-wise, just not as theatrical. She's certainly more talented than Jordan Sparks whose youth helped her outpoll a MUCH more talented Melinda Doolittle a couple of years ago.

The people that votes in the poll, likes Adam and so the rest don't recieve much votes. But it doesn't mean anything because doesn't match with idol results.
At this point in the competition the winner only depends of people votes, forget about the performances. I'm not Adam's fan...he always shout but I think his performances are good, but the last one it was not better than any previously performance so I understand why he was on the bottom 3....I repeat at this point nobody is safe based on each performance...is the people who has the power!!!!

Something has been wrong with Rickey's for a few days now. Haven't anyone been having problems with it hanging up and running slow, cause I'am. Even as I 'm typing this it takes a while for me to type it in cause it is soooo slow.
Now why are you guys picking on Danny so much and calling him names? It's so not true that he doesn't like Adam and all of them are best buds. It was a joke that Adam was in the bottom two but it was real.

There is no conspiracy. It's sad. It would have been nice for him to win this without being in the bottom two but it is not the end of the world. Ruben and Fantasia were both in that position. Sometimes it is the kick in the proverbials that the fans of the leading contestant need.

It is the next few weeks that are important. If people believe that it was a conspiracy or staged and that he wasn't really in the bottom two but perhaps third or not even third, whatever, it will have a negative effect and it will not inspire his fans to do what they have to do and change their voting ways. They will continue to think that they don't have to vote for him or that they don’t have to vote for him that much or that it is OK to split their votes with other contestants because others will be giving all their votes to Adam and ………………. anyway …………….. it was all staged. It wasn't and the only way to avoid it happening again is to vote for Adam and only Adam as if your life depended on it. He is not safe without his supporters' votes.

Dude, this is totally messed

The poll is definitely broken, but like I said in another posting, Adam has unintentionally slipped into the "Too Predictable" category, which of course is owned by Danny Gokey. Adam needs a game changer to remodel himself. The whole axelrose version of every song he does routine is old hat. his ballads are awesome, but I think people are looking for a third, sort of middle of the road Adam. My guess is that we're not going to see it this week -- "rock week." He'll probably be safe this week tho, even if he does the axelrose thing again. I'm anxious to see Kris and Allison more than anyone else.

America got it EXACTLY right. Adam should go home NEXT WEEK. He won't... but he SHOULD. He doesn't sing... he shrills, like a little girl. He doesn't 're-invent' himself every week, he just finds a new way to look like a drag queen playing dress up. I seriously don't care how flaming gay he is... and it's QUITE a bonfire... the man has ZERO talent as far as vocals go and he is simply being 'marketed' by the producers of the show, because of his plastic looking face and girly appeal. As usual, it's a popularity contest on Idol.. and not a talent contest. If it WERE, Danny Gokey would be the winner.

Adam or Allison is going to win, most likely. Those are the only two that you see people really obsessing over. Danny and Kris better pump it up for the competition.

And even though Adam was in the bottom two last week, it is just a kick in the butt to his "fans" to vote for him more. He really is theatrical, but I think it makes it more fun to watch. Its no fun watching somebody that just stands there and sings, they gotta do something with their voice to make it more interesting and move around. When he did "Born to Be Wild" it was so fun to watch. If I was actually in America, I would vote for him. Who cares if he is gay? He's freaking awesome

Why do people always start hating on the stars? All of the A.I. finalists are AMAZING singers, no doubt. They just all have different voices that appeal to different people. Adam- kind of rocky, but he still has a soft side, along with is everlasting voice pumps at the ends of his songs. Allison- amazing vocal range, kind of raspy. Danny- slightly raspy as well, but he's got a nice deep sounding voice.:D Kris - a slight country style mixed with rock. I think he is very enjoyable to listen to.
It just depends of your fav genre of music. So stop being H8ers

adam is far the best singer ever on this show. people who say they are getting tiered the way he is singing, are stupid. a good singer does not change his way of singing every week. adam is the best.

if does not win the show, no problem, because he is fantastic. it is not about winning, it is about beeng the best.

I love talented kids and I have enjoyed all of them in the top 4 of AI. They have grown tremendously over the weeks of these episodes. It must be frightening in some ways! I have great empathy for Allison because of her age and I think she is a tremendous force to have this kind of courage! However, in my opinion, as a former professional vocalist, perfomer, and now, teacher, I can truthfully say that I could find quite a few young artists in my own hometown who could compare to 3 of the 4 singers left on AI. BUT, an Adam Lambert rarely comes along. His musicality ranks in the highest of artistic levels. Not only is he a rare type of vocalist, he is a chameleon as a performer!
I think Simon used the word theatrical first and that word has been used like it doesn't belong in the music industry! I am stunned by that! Are not music videos REALLY theatrical? Can't you just see how crazy and fun Adam's will be? When he came down those steps, lit up and strutting in the white suit, that was, for this baby boomer, every bit of what the Rat Pack was about. He NAILED it! That wasn't Broadway, Randy! That was Vegas! And the Rat Pack OWNED Vegas! I have seen that exact entrance from the likes of those guys! And boy did they strut! Sleaze?... they invented the word! It kills me that the judges aren't commenting on Adam's intelligence in his choices and WHY they are so specific. Young people might actually learn something, because I guarentee that few veiwers younger than 50 understood what Adam was doing with the Rat Pack genre! I just think he is in a league truly of his own in the whole group! I find it interesting that Paula gets criticized so much, but she seems to be the only one who, as she says, "gets it". Every mentor they bring on the show stands in awe! They "get it"!
It is obvious that Adam incites the band each week! Those musicians are outrageous and they seem to love playing Adam's arrangements (In which I am sure they have much creative imput). They finally get to have a great time and shine, too! I think the person or persons who help Adam with the vocal arrangements each week have to have a blast as well. Now can't we all see Adam in concert and instrumentalists loving playing for him? Aren't concerts really theatrical with tremendous spectacle? Good grief! Why does the word not seem to be appropriate vocabulary for music entertainers? Can somebody explain that to me? I don't want to pay money to watch someone stand there and just sing with no theatrical elements to give me what I pay my money to see. And we know how much money concerts cost!
As for Adam in movies? All I have to say is...Hugh Jackman! And I have images of Adam playing the Bowie role in Labryinth, the sequel!

I just hope America is able to recognize and honor the true talent we have right in front of us. We seem to break ourselves down when we want to vote for the underdog. It isn't real and it doesn't do anything but cheat the underdog when reality sets in. I love seeing so many people up in arms over what happened on this last elimination show. I think we all know the producers were jerking our chains and it is great that everyone is alerted to give the producers what they want... thousands more watching and viewers voting a hell of lot more! Let's give em what they want! And let's pay attention to how many votes they announce were called in on the next elimination evening. I think they said 47 million called in this last time. Is that right? I bet it is many more than what they have announced in earlier episodes, even with less contestants!
Break a leg, Adam, and rock us out of the house on Tuesday! I absolutely can't wait! I wish the other 3 well, too. They deserve lots of kudos, too! But...Adam, take us to paradise, sweetie! Trish Clark, I must agree with you in what you wrote. In addition I know that
Adam Lambert in the bottom 2 was a set up by the producers to get more viewers to watch the show. There was not 47 million called in because a lot of people vote more than once which they should only do. Just think of the same person calling in a few hundred times to vote. I don't think that is right. I have been involved with the concert touring and theatrical industry for over 50 years and I know what goes on to boost sales with marketing schemes. This truly was a marketing scheme. Ryan Seacrest only reads what is given to him on the card from the producers. He never knows the true voting count for each singer which I feel should be told on the show. Without a doubt Adam is the most consistent performer and singer on AI with his vocal range being perfect each week. He is also the most original and creative of all of the other singers. The other singers are quite good as well but do not come close to Adam. It's just the simple truth!
This is the first year I truly have watched this show and it is because of Adam Lambert showmanship with his creativity along with originality that I look forward to each week. I would highly suggest for everyone, that it would be good to see more of Adam's talent on YouTube for yourself to see what a truly gifted talent this person has. I found it to be quite amazing the talent range and diversity he has. Trust me when I say, that you can take this to the bank and earn interest on this one. One thing I hate is when there is lying going on and this is why I could not hold back from speaking what is the truth about what happened with AI last show with Adam at the bottom 2. It was simple a marketing scheme.
AI knows that the public is not stupid. They also know that this marketing scheme would not hurt them but only boost up there viewing audience for the up coming week along with getting more advertising dollars from those companies that pay to have their advertising shown on the AI time slot.
The bottom line is about business and without advertisers there is no AI show, which would then be canceled.
So is it right what they did? No! But it's all about money and the corporate business enterprise to stay alive on TV.

Adam is fantastic! He does a great job all of the time. Kris is a sweetheart. Danny---NO. The girl, Allison, should have gone home long ago. And what the heck is wrong with this poll anyway?

And say what you want, but in this world, if a FEMALE singer sounded like a MAN when she sings, not many people would enjoy it and she probably wouldn't get very far. But Adam Lambert sounds almost identically like a fussy little female when he sings, and it's equally disgusting. If it weren't for his upper register, he'd be completely lost. If it weren't for his inherent NEED to sing like he's been neutered and SCREAM every chance he gets, he'd have nothing to do each week. The fact is, he might as well be Fantasia.

Danny Gokey sings like a MAN, with true depth, feeling, emotion and heart. And amazingly enough, he does it ALL while sounding like his body produces adequate testosterone, instead of an overload of estrogen. All that, and I have yet to hear him scream like a little bitch.

Alright, I see Adam isn't your taste, and that's fine. I agree Danny is a great singer, but he's too generic for my taste, and I hope you can respect that. PERSONALLY, I just find Adam more exciting and versatile...and I especially love his studio recordings for mad world and feeling good. (By the way, he did not scream at all in Mad World or Tracks of My Tears)...

Who is my favorite one? Hard decision since I don’t really enjoyed this season like I did last year. First of all, I must admit I was not an Adam fan since the beginning, but when he was in bottom 2 (where I think he really was) I decided to give him a chance, so I downloaded all Adam’s songs, Kris’s and Allison’s and Anoop’s (his last song). I didn’t feel downloading anybody else’s songs because I didn’t feel that connection, I guess. So if you realize that Anoop is no longer in the competition I must say I have my own top 3. Now, choosing one of them to define who is my favorite, I decided to listen to their music the whole weekend, in the morning, lunch time (knowing that my parents are used to listen to all kinds of music styles while eating), at night in my own space and at work on Monday, I agree that Mad World and Play that Funky Music, Tracks of my tears were terrific performances (recommended for every occasion), but Ring of Fire I found it spooky in all the occasions I could imagine, like a horror film soundtrack, the rest of the songs didn’t help my digestion, but help me to get crazy in my bedroom and at work, not recommended when you are still yawning. So I thought that Adam had an 8 in my personal countdown. Kris was next; his voice was pretty cool and his music very listenable in all occasions, so he gets a 9. And finally Allison who has a cool voice, and she got an 8. So I decided that Kris was my favorite, considering that I am a rock fan but a music lover above all. But everything changes and you don’t know, maybe I’ll change my mind after this night performances...

Adam is perfection. Gokey was horrid! I didn't realize that he could not hit notes. The end of "Dream On' will give me nightmares for days to come!

Trish Clark i agree with you. adam is the most talented person that american idol has ever had. he is the cream of the crop. he deserves to win the title. i was really fascinated with adam's performances every week. Geez.. Danny blew ONE note... ONE.. and that was the infamous Steven Tyler scream at the end of 'Dream On'... even Slash wasn't sure he would be able to hit it... and no... I didn't like it. But it's the FIRST time (and a very short one at that) that Danny didn't hit a truly important note quite well. That's a LOT of drama, Tabby... wow.... and "FAIL"... you would be dead wrong on your weird assessment of my thoughts on homosexuals. His sexual preference has absolutely nothing to do with how I feel about Adam. None at all. He's just a GUY that sings like a GIRL.. and I like GUYS to sing like MEN. What Adam and Allison did was unforgettable. they were perfect compliments for each other. As far as danny and kris go, they had a decent duet, and in my opinion kris solo was better then danny's.god i cant stop replaying that horrid scream. Go adam! :)

ummm dm. just because you say adam screams (which is totally wrong ive never heard him scream) listen to danny. i want danny to be runner up. but that last note he sung on the show just got him voted off the show. everyone sucks compared to adam. hes incredible with song choice and his range and his voice. adam has had the show won since the week 2 of hollywood after he auditions. when they did groups. when he did that high note. and then group 2 of the top 36 he did "satisfaction" which was insane. and since the top 13 every song hes done was insane. by the way people say that every song hes done is awesome except for the ring of fire. which i thought was genius because he wasn't gonna do a song that he would of sucked on. by the way in ring of fire his vocals were awesome. "satisfaction", "born to be wild", and "whole lotta love" were my favorite songs. he does good on slow songs but way more incredible on rock songs cause that is when he goes wild. Adam's gonna win. dm adam just screams because he knows that he already won.
