God forbid we give health insurance to underprivileged and underinsured children. Have some heart, people!
We already have a CHIPS program for CHILDREN -- not adults up to the age of 27!!!! That's what this expanded program does -- learn the facts before you comment. I believe you can buy a house, buy a car, vote, get married at 18, go in the military (but not buy a beer -- stupid law) so why can't you be responsible and take care of your own health care? I did. I know a person who at work had nephews who were eligible for the CHIPS program but the mother was too lazzzzzzzzzzzzzzy to go to the Federal Office and sign her kids up. Take that Liberals!!!
