I like themadmomma's entry as well as Tara' entry. Both moms have a way of expressing their maternal love which I find very pure and heartwarming.

All participants post are nice and interesting. I like Life with Pipette's entry the best since in alot of ways i felt related or being a part to this pure and emotional expression as they say "LOVE". BEST OF LUCK TO ALL CONTESTANTS.

Being able to vote multiple times is a HUGE loop hole. What if someone just keeps voting for themselves???
The number of comments bloggers get esp. on this mom's day post should be a good indication of how popular they are no? When the comments# doesn't tally with the score here, you know for a fact the loophole is being exploited!

@Ms.Tic, I don't think one can vote multiple times - the system won't allow that, atleast not from the same comp! But yes, I do find it hard to believe that there really are two thousand voters who have read the entries and voted, that too, in such a short span of time!

I just figured out that it is possible to vote multiple times from the same pc, if you have cleared your cache and cookies. Try it and see! This voting process is obviously not legit anymore!

@ veda: wow!! this is something i did not know.. thanks for highlighting.. like you rightly mentioned, if by clearing the cache and cookies we can vote multiple times then this is indeed not legitimate.. im yet to try out the clearing cache thingy though..

Oh that's awful! What is going to happen now? We can't possibly request our friends to vote all over again!! Not that I have many, but still, its going to be difficult.

This is Phoenixritu and I deeply regret doubts being created about the validity of our system and Poll Daddy which is an established name in online polling. I have taken up the matter with Poll Daddy and if we find that there are multiple votes being cast for any participant, I will be forced to disqualify that entry. Poll Daddy has assured me that it is not possible and someone is trying to create unnecessary controversy and spoil the atmosphere. You people are the best judge on this.

I beg to differ, but the polling process is not foolproof. I opened three different browsers and the link allows me to vote again. Maybe by clearing the cache one can re-vote.

This seems pretty wrong. Kindly convey this to Poll Daddy folks.

Well, I cleared the cookie cache and voted multiple times for the same entry. And after the first vote, although it did say"thanks, we have already counted your vote", the number of votes for the entry went up. Not once or twice, 5 times. Obviously a glitch!

I find it really sad that after putting in so much effort, this technical glitch has crept in. We will take it up with Poll Daddy and revert

I tried it now, but it said 'Thanks your vote has already been counted'. Hope we see a resolution soon. Its a bit unnerving, really.

This is so disheartening. After all the promotion and hard work. we are a family of four and all could vote from one computer at different times. How can that be ? no cookies were cleared.

@Phoenixritu, this is a technical glitch that cannot go away. BTW, given the obvious childishness of this whole exercise and endeavour -- that thrives on individual networking and so very plainly seeks only to increase traffic on YOUR website -- I find you reply amusing.
