Should medical professionals be protected by "conscience clauses?"



Yes: Doctors should never be forced to perform a procedure with which they disagree

No: Doctors should be required to provide any legal medical service requested by a patient.

Yes: But only for abortion, assisted suicide, or other procedure that takes a human life.

No, unless the doctor refers the patient to a colleague willing to abide by the patient's request.

Yes, for any elective procedure not required to save the life or maintain the physical health of the patient
