Should medical professionals be protected by "conscience clauses?"



Yes: Doctors should never have to do anything with which they personally disagree.

No: Doctors should be required to provide an legal medical service requested by a patient.

Yes: But only for abortion, assisted suicide/euthanasia, or other procedure that takes a human life.

No, unless they refer the patient to a doctor willing to abide by the patient's wishes

Yes, for any elective procedure not required to save the life or maintain the physical health of the patient.
