How can breaking the law be "justified?" Because it works? Well, guess what if I need money, robbing someone works. If I want a car, stealing one works. If I wish someone would die so they would be out of my life, murder works. Just because something "works" doesn't mean it is legal or right. Besides, most experts agree that torture does NOT work. So what the heck, Hollanders? I thought a good little community like yours was supposed to uphold the actual LAW!

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, et al should ALL be prosecuted for these despicable acts which should be looked at by everyone as being very un-American and un-patriotic. The spin that the right-wingers put on this is sadly laughable. Do we live in such fear that anything goes? Grow up.

Why just Bush et al.? Seems Ms Pelosi et al. had plenty of time to object as well, but they too took a pass. Nice to all to be doing Monday morning quaterbacking after the fact. What law was broken??? Terorists of any kind are NOT protected under the Geneva convention. Get real. If the best legal minds at the time (2002/2003) thought it was an option available, then who are we to argue as to it being one of many potential options that could be used?
