In 2010 the BMJ Group and BSG will launch a new peer-reviewed, clinical journal. It will be a cousin to Gut, but very different. What should it be called?

I think that the clinical gut is a great idea.

I will agree with the gut in practice.

I am not sure that this is a good idea. Don't hurt the original by pulling out good articles. It is very close to passing Gastroenterology on IF, and should pass it in a few years.
The new journal must have a very distinct, clear role. One should not be likely to have a hard time choosing where to send an article. The second journal should be judged on website hits and downloads, not by scholarly impact factor.

A bit disappointed by those results...
Good for the winner however ;)
