I'm on a boat!
I must have spent about $20,000 according to how many songs I have. It's not as though I got them all for free.
You know, I honestly have paid a lot for music because Cable is a monthly fee. They should just give some of that money to Music Labels.
This poll is poorly worded as CDs are digital. I think what the author was aiming for (and missed ... horribly) is: "How Much Have You Spent on Digital Music Downloads?" One word, that's all it needed, makes a world of a difference. And if that is the question, my answer is $0. I have nothing against buying digital downloads from Amazon, but it is cheaper to buy used CDs and rip them (especially when so many people are downloading and getting rid of their CD collections).
Not being on the bleeding edge of music enjoyment, I'm quite content buying 2nd-hand CDs and ripping those to my mp3 player. Helps that my music tastes are eclectic.
Probably about $30 in total.
Zero dollars on downloads. Not much on physical music either, mainly because of the few artists that I listen to that actually sell their music on CD or whatever, its impossible to find where I live. Most of the music I listen to however is underground electronic and japanese music that isnt liscensed.
I have spent a whopping $1.98 total. I know - I need to slow down.
