How about Jennifer Hudson is not even on the list of artists to choose from? Wow..how did that slip by??

That list says Jennifer Lopez, not Jennifer Hudson....

how about its not that big of a deal, jennifer hudson is still in the same category as all the artists on here. that girl obviously can sing, are you only saying its not fair because so far she has the lead? i think you should just get over it, and vote for who you like. let the best person win :) this is about talent not who has the most friends...

um...amber, rules are rules. if they disqualified Buddy in the first round for this very reason, why is it not a big deal....? and no its not about who's in the lead, its about the principal of the matter...rules are rules...how about that???

how about that?? really, this is not kindergarten..i understand where your coming from in a way, but there are two people on here singing that song..they play her songs on this station ALL the time! if her name isnt on the list it should be..im not here to argue with you over something petty, im here to vote for who i think is the best and should be sent through for this round. end of discussion.

girl please....yeah, they millions of songs on that station..but um, do you see every single artist on the list...the rules were simple..everyone has to follow them, except who feels like they dont have to...?? huh??

There are good singers from previous weeks, I just wish that they would have gone with another song, so people could see how their voices sounds with other music. It might have presuaded people that didn't vote for them before, to change their tune. But oh well, I guess it's too late for that one now lol. Good luck to you guys! ;) And even if you don't make it this time around, I'm sure that there will be another sometime in the future.

one more thing- this is from the rules and regulations for this contest. maybe you should take a look at this before you start trying to get people who deserve to be on here disqualified:

4. SONG SELECTION. Song must originally be performed by an artist CURRENTLY AIRED on The Vibe; excluding all rap songs. Songs can be originally performed by a duo or group; however, contestants audition must be a solo performance of that song. No auditions with explicit lyrics will be accepted. If you have any questions about a song choice, please email webmaster@993thevibe.com and Sponsor will answer your question ASAP.

Yeah, I see your point Amber, and you are right. But I think it has to do with how the rules were written. It kinda contradicts itself. The label above all the artists that are listed says ( And this is a copy and paste thing): The song you choose MUST be by one of the following Vibe artists. ---- And that's how all the fuss came up. So it shows what you saw in the rules, and then on the website, it shows what I just posted. So, it contradicts itself, and that is only the fault of whoever wrote the rules down. ;) They probably should triple check everything to make sure it matches next time.

Thanks Bill, I see how that could cause a problem..It is stated right above all the videos too with the other rules too..but oh well, cant do anything to change it now. Also they choose 10 videos to put up for voting, so its pretty unlikely that they would put up 2 songs by Jennifer Hudson if it was against the rules right? Good luck to all the contestants!!

I think the video for number 1 was kinda funny. It reminded me of how I used to sing in a room, and then one of my younger siblings would just bang on the door hahah. Great voice though! ;) might want to try to warn people not to disturb while recording haha. It throws people off from listening to the main attraction of the video, and they pay more attention to what the people banging on the door are yelling hahaha.

IF U CAN READ in the rules and guidlines it states ALSO that • song choice must be a current play on 993TheVibe, and therefore WOULD INCLUDE JENNIFER HUDSON, it's not my fault u cant READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The song you choose must be by one of the following Vibe artists, and I don't remember hearing anything about if it is currently on the radio you can sing it. That would defeat the whole purpose of having the list.

and yes, before you try and point out the spot about " song choice must be a current play on 993TheVibe". I've seen it. It doesn't mean you do the song though.

Wow! This is quite a discussion, Im the actual person who you see singing in video 1. And I hope that a "song" isn't going to change this fun contest into a war. I just want to say that I appreciate the support from those who see this arguement as out of text. But I don't have internet at home, and so you could see my view on this~ I called a friend and asked if she was on the list, they told me she was, and so I sang it and sent it in. I gave them all my information so if there was a problem they could reach me. But 99.3 decided to put the video in TWICE! so I think this whole arguement should stop and lets get back to enjoying it!
