Is this poll question any more useful than to poll readers as to whether one prefers low taxes or high taxes?
Why not just remove all taxes from the majority who make the median income and below and place the entire burden on the minority who make above the median.
Even this ridiculous arrangement would probably find favor with a majority of those polled.

I THINKT THE GROCERY TAX SHOULD BE REMOVED THE PRICE OF FOOD AND GAS IS STEADILY ON THE RISE, BUT THE EMPLOYERS ARE NOT PAYING WORKERS ANY MORE, JUST FOR PEOPLE TO AFFORD TO EAT THE GROCERY TAX REMOVAL WOULD BE GREAT......

I think the removal of sales tax would help the state of Alabama lessen the prosecution rate of the illegal use and sale of food stamps, while simutaneously helping families provide food for their children and increasing sales and business in our local area

Yes, the sales tax on groceries should be removed. I lived in Florida for a while and they do not tax groceries. Alabama needs to figure out a way to make this happen.
