OK. Personally I appreciate anyone who has the courage to do this. I am a singer myself. You don't have to be ugly, folks. Especially if you're not on here trying. You should also think about how you would feel if it were your friend or someone else you know on here being attacked with uncalled for comments. Before you place judgment on someone and say things that are just plain ugly...you should take a look in your own effing backyard first.

I actually think the 2 girls that are ahead aren't that impressive. I wish there were more guys that were up this week. The 2 guys that are up are pretty good but I guess it's all about voting for a cute girl vs. real talent.

#8 has this hands down stop voting on the strength that you know the person and check out the real talent listen to the range on number 8. The voice is strong and powerful

This should be base on the persons vocals and I think #3 has the best vocals. Listen to her range, she can hold a note without sounding like she is screaming. I think you should vote for the best singer not because you know them and I know quite a few

Listen, a few of them "sound" like they may be screaming, but they aren't. Liz for one is a great singer, I've heard her sing many times live and she can DEFINITELY hold a note beautifully. The video recording is crap, and it makes some of the singers sound like they are a little screechy. When it comes to recording, audio and video, the quality of the equipment can really mess with how the vocals sound. In reality, someone many sound worlds better than they do on tape.

Dan is right, Liz sounds way better than this in real life. Did you guys hear her on the radio last week? Oh my gosh amazing. And her band rocks too.

i dont understand how the girls #4 and #6 are winning this competition when they have absolutely no talent!!!! neither of them can sing. the girl singing nelly furtado can't keep up with the beat and sounds like crap and liz who is in "some band" has WAY too much vabrado and sounds like she's trying to way to hard. she changes keys like 3x and is extremely pitchy.

so why instead of this being a damn popularity contest, why don't ya'll encourage your friends to vote for someone who actually knows how to sing? #1 is AWESOME #2 isn't too bad and some of the others girls are better than the two girls that are winning.

they are gonna make it to the finals and SUCK and people that can actually sing that have made it the last 2 weeks are gonna blow them out of the water so your vote doesn't even really make a difference bc neither of these girls r going to the chili contest or taking home the $500!!!!

I heard liz on the radio and i cant listen to her video or on the radio she sound like a dieing cat! and the other girl she had to have the music playing just were she could hide her voice from us . # 1 rocks

Im going to have to agree with the last 2 comments.. This should be decided on talent and talent alone.. The contestants were supposed to sing with no music behind them so #4 whats up with that?? Number 6 isnt that bad but very pitchy. I'm glad some of us are pulling behind #1 seeing that he put originality in the performance by adding words like" fredericksburg does it like nobody does" and actually showing enthusiasm during the song. NOT holding his hands to his side. Even some of the other girls have great voices but barely have votes. The RADIO STATION should have picked who they though should go on.. Not leave it up to people who really cant sing but know tons of people to vote.. It's not completely fair.

Thats why girls win stuff 1/2 the time because everyone goes gaga eyes for them and doesn't really appreciate true talent.... like I was saying that TL brown is and these two girls aren't. One of my good friends would have voted for TL because he said his talent was great but Liz is his friend so he had devotion to her. And sad to say thats probably where a ton of her votes came from.

I could understand if this was TPain or something . but its like this he has a dream and that is to get fans for his talent. he is an amateur. anyone can make a CD. it's a free country. its not like he already has a record deal or has been in voice lessons his whole life. he's an average guy just like anyone else but the difference is he wants a career in music. so of course why wouldnt he enter a MUSIC competition? get off of your high horse and show a little common sense.

Yo I think everyone on here has a point in some way shape form or fashion. But to the people in the competition its not a joke.. I can say I've seen T.L. Preform in person and the guy sounds much better in person as well. Awesome performer and singer and great guy. I've seen liz as well.. and shes good. I def think the radio station needs on the next go round to have Judges, and real auditions for a real contest.. NOT A YOUTUBE deal where the most popular survive. Some of the other girl's are good as well. But my vote went to T.L. and who ever said T.L. Was screaming??? Whats up with that.. He sang the song very smooth!!! Good job to all. But T.L. Go man GO!!

I think all the singers are amazing in their own right, and I give them all props. It is aggravating that some people may (or may not!) be winning on popularity, but even the real American Idol is based on fan votes.

Voting based on looks sucks, too... but don't we judge all of our idols by their looks? Win or lose, it's just a chance to win $500... no more or less. I agree with Shaye and don't feel that he/she was bashing anyone. It looks like the radio station is letting a lot of rules slide which makes it unfair for the rest of the contestants.

Hey im actually the guy that has the first video up on here.. I just wanna say sense it seems to keep slipping some other's mouths that there are several good singers on this week.. 8, 10, 5,7 ect.. most of us prob do sound much better that the video can justify!! I just wanna say in the spirit of competition that I think you ladies sound amazing!! and it takes alot for all of us to get up and do this .. I applaud everyone who does!!!

hey landry, obviously you have no idea what you're talking about. i've been singing for 10 years and was professionally trained and #6 is quite talented, and has a great range. she was slightly pitchy at the beginning, but so were the majority of the other contestants. she has a great range. i've also heard her live, since she's from my area, and she definitely holds her own as well as sounds significantly better than on the recording, it's obviously the recording itself which is making the higher notes sound slightly scratchy. so, hey, before you criticize about something of which you know nothing about, put up your own godd**n video and let us cut you down you idiot.

Actually, I'm with Landry. I don't see much talent in #6. But to each his own. But hey, all I gotta say is she needs to BRING IT to the finals because she's already up against 2 very talented singers... Yasmin & TL.

I'm with ALS... whoever is in the finals needs to bring it. So far each week there have been pretty talented singers picked and I feel that TL will definetly not let anyone down... I have seen him sing at hard times, baileys, bogeys and also I heard he won Hard Times Idol last Fall so the guy definetly knows what he's doing. As far as if Liz can sing or not, guess we'll see in a few weeks!

I just don't agree with you, I think #6 sounds great. Her style is not stereotypical... she has her own unique vocal tone, which the other women do not have. TL has a great vocal tone too. I think #1 and #6 are the best, hands down. The others are just "so-so" in my book. Kudos to everyone it takes balls to get up there and sing, true, but that doesn't make them automatically talented.
