Should elected town officials be seated after Town Meeting on July 1, to coincide with the beginning of the fiscal year?



1) Leave it alone. Elected officials should be able to take their seats immediately, rather than allowing a lame duck to sit through Town Meeting.

2) Change it. We need consistency on leadership boards especially through the budgeting process.

3) Move the town election to June, to avoid lame ducks and board upheavals.
