Summer is for fun, let people have a break this summer, especially after such a stressful winter. Fall is always hard to get back to work etc, kids back to school, you feel overwhelmed with the regular work-a-day stuff. Spring, however, is the end of a long dark, miserable winter, time to work and clean house. that's what the Canadian psyche is doing, the political should echo those sentiments and have an election complete before the end of the kids school year. It's likely to be a bit of a nasty campaign, and I don't think people wil appreciate the politicians fighting with each other AGAIN in the fall. That's harvest time, too busy to waste on politics.
