Petal isn't an odd name, neither is peaches or fuchsia. But apple, well, you just wouldn't call your child that. "hey, apple do you wanna apple?" yeah it just doesn't go :L xo
Calling your child Peaches is like calling your child Buttocks. Apple, Petal and Fuchsia seem less embarassing.
