I've been a Hip Hop Head since the early 90s and have had the chance to watch and hear all the listed Emcees as they debutted and rose and shone. I must admit the most hard hitting Emcee in terms of sheer energy, poetry and gangsta ATT is Tupac Amaru Shakur. In terms of flambuoyancy, player attitude and wordplay execution, The Notorious BIG took it.
The rest of the Emcees namely Dre (he's a great producer but a whack rapper, his shit dint make sense back then til he started paying Eminem n other ghost rappers to tighten his flow eg. 4got bout Dre n Watchers - clearly not his written lines). Nas had it locked in poetry (I Am, The Lost Tapes, Nastradamus) but he lacks the essential ingredient of evolution so after a while he started sounding like a repeat show. Lil Wayne has made his niche in HipHop and that's cool coz he make alot of money but his nursery rhymes and diconnected flow leaves you feeling wasted at the end of the song when you realise he aint saying sh!! He's got proper execution and swagger, not to mention a sarcastic flow that borders on straight silly. I dont however think he would hold his weight if we analyze his rhyme n reason as compared to all the rest.
Now. Jigga, Jay Z, Sean Carter, The Roc, Rocafella Don, etc. has this mchuzi mix of all the good elements while skillfully evading the bad. His music is revolutionary, his flow is unmatched (I f he ain't better than BIG, he's the closest one). He's got the hardcore flow that excites undergroung HH fans while still maintaining a rounded edge that appeals to the ladies and mainstream music. He's been through the 90s Beef Era and has the scars to show. He went toe-to-toe with 2pac (I love the dough) a thing which many Emcees dared not back in the day. He re invented himself and created a dynasty that surpassed anything that had a voice then (Bad Boy, Master P's No Limit, Ruff Rydaz, Wu Tang Clan etc). He beefed with Nas and knocked him out maturely, he's got the flyest chick in the game wearing his chain, he dint fall off after a few million dollars, he still makes number one hits and also gives us food for thought. He embodies a true Hip Hopper and carries with him the lfie of a Made Man and also the dream of o hussler. Jay Z takes this vote not because I feel him personally but I have broken down his game and yet there's still alot that's uncovered. Enough Said

I see things like this begin I to wonder, who gat the hip - hop game apart from Pac. Tupa is gone for more than a decade, his music still exist fully even more than the top Rappers we have. And whenever you listen to his music, is like listen to the holy books (you know what am saying). he music is spiritual. Pac is the man even in his grave.
