Giving blood isn't such a big deal (I'm a donor too :)) but Kate was truly for almost the first time putting someone else's needs before her own. Great!!

Had to vote for Kate this week - for the fist time in ages I enjoyed one of her flashbacks, and it was great how she risked her position at Dharma to save Ben. Jack, on the other hand, acted like a total jerk. He may be becoming a 'man of faith', but that doesn't mean he had the right to ignore a dying child, even if it was Ben.

Jack’s journey of faith with respect to the island, and possibly also with the idea of his father’s existence on the island, causes me to give Jack the nod on this one. I think Jack’s conversation with Locke was the turning point for him, and it will be interesting to see how his character develops in this regard.

Well I have to say I did like Jack in this last ep, it had a nice ring to it to hear him say no. But....that was not a really a good character trait I think he showed so I had to go with Kate, as her actions seemed a lot more selfless. Peace out girls!

I would rather vote for Jack but Kate did go above and beyond. She isn't on the top of my favorite's list but she could have set back and let him die. I hope Kate is making a change for the positive and realizes it isn't always about her.

I agree with Debbie, I would rather be voting between Sawyer and Juliet.
But since the choice is Jack or Kate.
I have to go with Jack, which is very weird because I have been a Jack hater for the past four seasons. I really hope he continues on for the rest of the series with his new found outlook on the island and everything. But I can't help but think he will backslide into his old arrogant, know it all, I am superior to everyone self. I hope I am wrong, but anyways I voted for Jack in this poll.

Cant vote for either Jack or Kate for anything except maybe most annoying characters.
May I suggest Juliet for doing everything she could do to save Ben even knowing all the things he will grow up to do to her.....keeping her hostage on the island, blackmailing her with a cancer cure for her sister, arranging for Goodwin to be killed.......
And Sawyer, for helping to save Ben, because it's what Juliet wants, and for remaining faithful to that relationship.
