    The mirror is like a virtual window. The image appears as if it is on the other side of the mirror (window). As you move closer the image appears larger. However, the mirror itself also appears larger. The question in my mind is: does the ratio of the apparent size of the image to the apparent size of the mirror change?

    I guess if I look up the appropiate sections in a physics text on geometric optics I'd find the answer (or a way to calculate it), but I don't "see" the answer.
