Not only are we suffering under this economy due to lack of work, but since my dh runs his own small business, there is no unemployment when he doesn't have a job. No work, no $$...we've had to use our children's savings' accounts to buy groceries but now that $$ is gone too. And we were 4 months behind on our mortgage, under the threat of foreclosure but had to borrow $$ from my parents to keep a roof over our heads. We will probably be selling once the market goes up but we've lived here for 19 yrs so it's heart breaking.
Hi Anon. I'm so sorry to hear about your financial distress. I work from home myself and am making a supplemental income for our family. The company I work with is stable, even when the economy is not. If you're interested, I can get you some info about that. My website is www.karencross.fourpointmoms.com if you want to take a look at some info and request more info from me. If not, I wish you and your family the best and hope that you make it through this very tough time.
Dear Anon,
I'm so sorry for your pain. I've been thinking about you a lot lately. I read your comment last week, but failed to write a comment back when I really should have because I want to lend you my support as a fellow sister in Christ--because I've been in your shoes--and just so very recently.
My husband just found a job 3 weeks ago after being laid off since last November. I'm a SAW&M. The unknown of what's going to happen next is the hardest and the SCARIEST! We had no savings either, and I don't know how we made it. If this job had not come along, we would've started getting behind in our house payments.
The thing about your home is especially heartbreaking! I will pray for you, especially in light of this Holy Week. You are suffering so much, as our Lord did. Please be hopeful. Maybe you are. I can't say I always was, but I will be for you any way.
Please, whomever else reads this, pray for Anon and her family and the millions of others like her, and were like me--the unemployed Americans. I think sometimes we are the forgotten, but we are your friends, neighbors, parishioners and family members. Thank you.
