I bought both the Titanium Drill Bits and the Dremel-like multi-tool. They both sucked and were absolutely completely useless. The titanium drill bits were even safe as a children's toy, you could poke yourself in the eyes with them and it wouldn't even hurt, they were so dull, you couldn't drill into styrofoam. Seriously junk!

    I Never Have!!!

I bought one of those "zit suckers" when I was sixteen. You know, one of those mini vacuum cleaners you stick over a pimple to suck the juice out. It worked as long as the battery was 100%.

    I bought a Garden Grabber:

it doesn't rake very well, but after you're done using a traditional rake to gather leaves, this thing does a great job of picking the piles up without you having to bend over.

I bought the magic bullet and love it. Make breakfast fruit smoothies every day with it.

I got the ove glove as a gift and also love it.

Bought my wife the snuggie blanket as a joke for valentine's day. She loves how she looks like she's from Star Wars when she puts it on.

I have a problem, someone stop me from buying so much as seen on tv stuff. It's addicting.

I just bought a portable (to be placed in a space where no lighting exists) lightbulb that takes four AA batteries for a closet in our house. For 5 bucks, it works great! Surprisingly not a piece of junk...get it at CVS.

I bought the Vidalia Chopper. Works perfect for chopping for stews, guacamole, and such.

  • Bustermoove - 15 years ago

Smart Chopper! One turn of the handle, four turns of the blade. Works awesome!

The ginsu knives and ding kink. Ginsu knives are amazingly cheap and shitty, but actually work pretty well and lasted forever. The ding king is just stupid.

The "Ove Glove" (http://www.asseenontv.com/prod-pages/ove_glove.html) works great! The one little thing you need to watch out for though, don't get any part of the glove wet when you're cooking. The water seems to act has some sort of conduit for the heat.

I bought an MXZ Pocket Saw, you know, they show it cutting cinderblock...it barely cuts paper in all actuality

Yo, I bought me a SNUGGIE, mu----az! And I ROCK that shizznit. It's like an awesome secret-cult-robe that isn't sewn up the back, which makes taking it off a breeze when the misses comes home and I don't want her catching me conducting the black arts.

    Debbie Meyer's GreenBags (http://www.greenbags.com)

I actually bought them at Staples (on their 'Bullshit racks' by the registers) and they actually work. Left some red peppers in the bag over spring break (~1 week) and they were fine when I got back. Nearly 2 weeks after that, they're still looking good.

I bought the aqua bulb, and it works great, all my mom's easter lillies stay watered for about a month before you have to refill the bulb. By the way, that's that glass ear cleaner shaped thing, you can get them from wal-mart now also.

the magic bullet.. : ( not a very good $160 investment.. it can barely blend eggs.. plus its to small! it hasnt broke yet, thats because all it does is collect dust in the cabinets.

  • Davey J - 15 years ago

i got a snuggie for my mom.. she LOVES it.. and apparently so does my cat.
magic bullet is awesome, only use it for smoothies though
george foreman grill, cant live without one of those, although now that i've gone vegetarian i dont make chicken on it anymore
and finally tempurpedic fixed 75% of my back problems

    SNUGGIE!!!!!!

  • Steve - 15 years ago

I got the iron gym as well. Its just a pull-up bar, nothing revolutionary. It makes the molding on the door creak which makes me nervous, but so far no problems.

  • Dan - 15 years ago

I purchased the razor sharpener. It works perfectly and far beyond my expectations. It has saved me countless dollars from buying new razor blades!!

I bought a cat litter box. It was in three pieces, each with slots. When placed in order, the bottom was sealed. You picked up the top piece and it strained the clumps. You dumped it out, turned it 180 degrees and put it at the bottom of the stack. It worked extremely well. I still have it. Best $20 I ever spent.

I bought that rotary pet-nail trimmer thingy that's supposed to be great for trimming cat and dog nails. It bites. VASTLY underpowered and, creates a horrible smell (as to be expected when one thinks of it, burning nails/hair duh). Doesn't work AT ALL.

  • Kris - 15 years ago

Iron Gym pullup bar, works perfect and super easy to store/carry where i need it

  • underscore_ - 15 years ago

    shamwow, yes it does work!

  • Betty - 15 years ago

I bought a set of Miracle Blades. The blades are great. The shitty plastic bits tend to break off and the stick-on branded bits come off in the wash. But they were good enough for the price that I got my mom a set, after practically getting tetanus cutting some tomatoes with the crappy knives she'd been using for the past twenty years.
Also, the Tempur-pedic - love it.
I guess neither of those are gadgets though.

  • Noah - 15 years ago

PedEgg. Works exactly as advertised, right down to the disgusting skin shavings inside the pod. Great for those that have really crusty heels.

  • Toby - 15 years ago

I bought the magic bullet. It's a shitty underpowered blender. Totally not worth it.

  • port8001 - 15 years ago

i bought and have used the flobee for years i love that thing

  • Darnel - 15 years ago

    Iron Gym. Works well.

  • vetenskapsman - 15 years ago

Magic Bullet... nope, it broke really quickly

  • frankthetank - 15 years ago

Metrinch tools and Duralube. Both of them work great.

  • Tim - 15 years ago

The outlet light switch. It works perfectly. I have a light switch on my refrigerator that turns on my chinese lantern plugged into the wall. Brilliant

  • Dan - 15 years ago

    Bowflex - like it
Flavor Wave - cheaply made doesn't last long but does work
Shark vacuum - cheaply made doesn't last long but does work

  • Bob Loblaw - 15 years ago

I bought the Iron Gym. Great product and works great. It's only a pull up bar so I guess it would be kind of hard to screw up.
