I'll take Gus/Len or Bill/Vern but, please, don't let Bilas do the games. He is the most condescending announcer since Bill Walsh did college games. There have been times where I've changed the channel during one of his games, just to cool off. It is hard to imagine someone can be that oblivous to his audience.

Raftery is the worst announcer out there! He way over does it instead of calling a game. No one annoys me more.

You got to be kidding me that Jim Nantz Has gotten that many votes..The guy does every sporting event...GUS JOHNSON!!!

Nantz/Kellogg is the safe choice. Gus is good, but far too WWE(screaming, shouting, colloquialisms) for my tastes...and Elmore is a bore. Lundquist and Raftery make it fun for the folks but have professionalism as well. They would be my pick.
But then again, in America these days you probably risk a lawsuit if you don't have at least one black guy getting the top opportunity...whether they deserve it or not.

Verne use to do the Cowboys games in the late 70's and early 80's. I always thought he called a good game.

how about raftery and johnson? I might actually listen to them do a wnba game. Not watch it, but listen to it and imagine it was as exciting as it sounded.

You have to be kidding. Lundquist and Raftery are jokes. They called the SEC Tournament Championship game. Raftery call Mississippi State head coach Rick Stansbury Richard Williams twice. Richard Williams hasn't been at Mississippi State in 11 years! They also had problems remembering the names of Mississippi State players. If they are going to announce games, they really need to do their homework. The announcers used by Raycom to call SEC games are the best especially Barry Booker.

Verne and Raft are great. But my first choice for play-by-play would be Kevin Harlan. Kevin is so good, he and anyone doing color commentary would automatically rise to be best team doing college basketball.
